Directional Drilling Software is used by our well planners and directional drilling staff to ensure your wells are drilled safely and on target. Our full suite of directional software integrates sophisticated anti-collision and projection algorithms, traveling cylinders, charting features, well planning tools, and a full array of reports in a user friendly and universal format.
Mud Motors are used in applications where clients need accurate placement of a well bore. The mud motor gives our team of directional drillers the ability to steer the drill string in any direction. When used with MWD tools, we can avoid obstacles and hit targets of only a few feet in diameter, thousands of feet below the earth's surface and thousands of feet laterally from the drilling rig.

Measurement While Drilling Tools (MWD) are placed inside the drill string, directly above the mud motor. MWD measure and transmit drill bit location and heading back to the surface where integrated surface systems gather and decode the data for our directional drillers. MWD tools can transmit data via hydraulic pulses in the drilling fluid (mud pulse), or by electromagnetic data transmission (EM) through the earth's crust. Gyroscopic Surveying Tools (Gyro) are used to measure and record the location of a well bore at any position along its axis, without having to worry about the effects of magnetic interference of other close proximity wells, nearby iron structures or magnetic anomalies. We specialize in close proximity kick offs by providing one of the most accurate gyros in the industry and personnel who understand the complexities of pad drilling. Our north seeking gyroscopic equipment uses the force of the earth's rotation to calibrate itself, unlike traditional and inferior tools that require the field personnel's compass or line of sight calibration. Due to the speed of our real time surveys it is economical to take one survey (single shot), or multiple surveys (multi shot) can be combined to provide the entire path of the well bore. Although normally used to collect real time data via wireline, when used with our slickline truck, the gyro can reach depths up to 20,000 feet below the earth's surface.
Magnetic Surveying Tools are used where magnetic interference is not an issue. They are able to measure and record the location of a well bore at any position along its axis. Due to the speed of our real time surveys it is economical to take one survey (single shot), or multiple surveys (multi shot) can be combined to provide the entire path of the well bore. Our magnetic surveying equipment can transmit real time data through our wireline truck's data cable, or we can save the data to the tool's internal memory for downloading when the tool returns to surface.
 Wireline is a multi-stranded cable which contains an insulated conductor wire in its core. The stranded cable acts as armor for the internal conductor and provides strength for inserting and retrieving down-hole tools. Our custom built 4x4 wireline truck has 7,500 feet of multi-conductor wireline, which makes it possible to simultaneously transmit data and power our down-hole tools. The small footprint and agile design of our wireline/slickline truck gives us the ability to deploy quicker and reach the most remote and treacherous locations.
Slickline, commonly used to retrieve and deploy down hole tools, is a long continuous strand of high tensile strength wire. Our 4x4 wireline/slickline truck is spooled with 20,000 feet of slickline wire and outfitted with a variety of seating and retrieval equipment. We can deploy to any location on a moments notice.
Gyro Calibration can be performed in our facility by factory trained and certified personnel. We utilize factory equipment to ensure your SPT gyro is performing to exacting standards.
